Alisabeths first day of School

I think Alis first day of kindergarten may have been harder for me then it was for her. She was up this morning and ready for school and worried that she was going to be late. Boy does she know us all to well.

We then took Sarah to school first and then it was Alis turn. This was pretty scary for me they wanted me to drop her in the lunch room and leave( no way would I do that.) Jon and I sat with Ali when she had breakfast and then the bell rang she didn't even finish all of her breakfast and she was ready to go. I walked her to her classroom and she found her seat and we then put her name tag on her. When I was finished she was ready for me to leave I was basically shunned she was fine and didn't need me anymore.

As Jon and I walked out of the classroom we were then met with this long line of kids not sure where they were suppose to go. Some of the kids wouldn't even tell you there name (shame on the parents) how was the teachers suppose to know where they were to go. Leaving your child and not even helping them find where they were going. Theses little ones need a little help at getting where they need to go.

The First Day of School for Some

Today was the first day of school for a few of my children. Sarah who is in 7th grade I think she had fun today her locker was showing her that it is boss but other then that. She is tired like she is suppose to be taking a nap at the moment.
Alisabeth just went into visit with her teacher she seems to like her but she is still a little stand offish. Her anxiety is trying to take over but she will do good.

Lena is a Freshman and she is at school right now we are getting ready to go get her and have a BBQ at her school. We will see how all of that goes for her. She is tough she can make it through almost anything.

Wow my life is flying by!!

Today we invited some friends from church over to get to know them better. We had alot of fun Tacos for late lunch and early dinner. Then visited for a while and let the kids play to get to know each other better. We moved out pigs around and then had a camp fire and roasted marshmallows. I thought it was alot of fun to get to know someone new.

Later that evening I got the little ones ready for bed so they can be ready for their first day of school. Sarah goes all day in the morning and Alisabeth meets with her kindergarten teacher tomorrow how exciting for them both. Lena goes for and orientation day from 1-6 then we have bbq at the Highschool. wow 3 kids in Highschool , 1 in middle school , and 1 starting from the beginning Kindergarten. Wow one more year and one will be out of school and our last one will be in school. Life seems to be moving very quick. I will try to get pictures of their first day at school and try to post them.

My blessing Today

Today I actually go to sleep in wow. That doesn't happen very often especially living on a farm and with two little ones under the age of 6. My older kids can be quiet and do there own thing. We must of needed it.

My oldest had a football game last night and it was good . It was actually good to see him play in the game. It has been 6 months since his accident when we almost lost our son. Thank God HE is here with us today. God is so good.

My daughter Lena was able to play volleyball on Thursday she did a great job also. I love watching my kids do sports and other various activities. Being a mother of 6 we are always so busy.

Hayley, Jon and and Tim Sr. (dad) went to state fair on Thursday. For a district officer meeting for FFA and to also look at a Duroc Boar for our farm.

Today my husband took our littlest ones with him to go work on the truck at a Friends house. What a blessing I can get my bible study done without being interrupted in the middle of a thought in my discipleship. How great is that. Thank you to him. I guess I better get started now since I have no excuse.

schedules at school

Boy today was fun day started off with me not feeling real well and was ready for a nap when I got up . I got some kind of sickness headache and feeling real dizzy all day. During my dizziness I still had to go to town and meet with the athletic director and register Lena for school today.

We have had to change Lenas schedule again it was 3 times total and now we have to go again tomorrow to change it again. I feel sorry for the counselor I hope they all are not that tough. Then when we were done I took Hayley to a Guitar shop in town boy does she want a guitar. They were very nice ones not just the run of the mill cheap china made ones but real sturdy ones. That would last for more then 3 monts probably a life time. Then we headed back to the school and dropped Lena off for Volleyball practice. Lena is so excited she is the starting server for her team. This means alot she has worked for years to be able to do this.

Then home I came to try to take a nap to get my dizziness to go away the kids wouldnt leave me alone long enough to let me sleep. One daughter has a friend over and kept bugging me while I was trying to nap. In my home this doesnt happen to often for any of us.

My husband is outside working on my sons/his truck the brakes are bad and is replacing them.

soon I will head to bed to start my day all over again. Im so excited not really but that is what being a mom is.
